Desna and Kolos recognized their rivals. Europa League Q4 Draw Results

The draw for the 4th qualifying round of the Europa League took place in Nyon, Switzerland. Another official name for this stage is the playoff round. 42 teams will compete for places in the group round (16 on the path of champions and 26 on the main path), split into 21 pairs.

For the sake of convenience for clubs and television, the Q4 draw took place before the Q3 matches played. Therefore, the Q4 draw was not attended by teams, as usual, but by pairs of teams brought together by the will of the previous draw in Q3.

From Ukraine, Kolos from Kovalevka and Desna from Chernigov took part in the draw for the 4th round of the Europa League qualification. Of course, they will first need to go through the Croatian Rijeka and the German Wolfsburg, respectively, and also on the road. And only then study the last opponent on the way to the group round. But Ukrainian clubs already know their full path in the UEFA qualifiers.

Opponents of Ukrainian clubs in Q4 Europa League

  • Copenhagen (Denmark) / Piast (Poland) – Rijeka (Croatia) / Kolos (Ukraine)
  • St. Gallen (Switzerland) / AEK (Greece) – Wolfsburg (Germany) / Desna (Ukraine)

This season, all pairs of the 3rd and 4th qualifying rounds of the LE are playing in a single match format and without spectators. The Q3 matches will take place on September 24th and the Q4 matches on October 1. Additional time and 11m streak will be played if required. The Q4 winners will advance to the Europa League group round.
